(all free to use for anyone and everyone who won't make fun of me over how pitiful some of them are)
- A group of outcasts from The City come together and live in an abandoned prison. They must survive on their own-- and hold steady as The City tries to annihilate them. (Since I rarely write happy endings, it would probably be cool to have them win the war and have The City grant the prison status as a private country. I need to write a happy ending someday.)
- Plot twist-- the murderer actually won, because the letter was laced with poison.
- Lady trapped in remote castle-like prison becomes friends with her keepers' children (who live on the property alongside the criminals, due to housing arrangements, and often play in the yards ala Tower of London) and uses them to arrange a breakout mission with the other prisoners.
- Fortune cookies that actually tell your fortune.
- Everyone at school is evaluated in order to undertake a quest, but at graduation only the best and most interesting kids are chosen. In order to be noticed and chosen, all the kids try their best to be brilliant or popular or eccentric.
- Fantasy creatures and their lives as they work on a revolutionary (for their culture) television show.
- Ensemble cast based around a nice apartment complex and the lives of the people who live and work there. Includes a doorman who occasionally takes bribes and a nanny who aspires to be Fraulein Maria.
- Kid gets punched into next week.
- Horrible artist whose art won't quit coming to life.
- Modern-day heroes have to slay a dragon that has taken over a city.
- Detective knows who the murderer is-- the mystery is who he murdered.
- A girl lives in musical, but cannot sing. (Perhaps she's deaf?) Her only friend is a French-language singer, whom she understands by reading his subtitles. The pair work to find a way for her to communicate in a world that revolves around music.
